8 Ball Pool sigue las reglas básicas del billar de 8 bolas. Uno de los jugadores comenzará abriendo la partida lanzando la bola blanca contra el resto de las bolas colocadas en triángulo. La primera bola que consiga meter en un agujero determinará con qué bolas jugará el resto de la partida, lisas o rayadas. El jugador que consiga meter antes todas las bolas de su tipo y únicamente al final, la bola 8 de color negro, ganará, ¿Sencillo no?
En cada turno, intenta golpear la bola blanca para meter otra bola en uno de los agujeros. Si lo consigues, podrás seguir jugando. De lo contrario, será el turno de tu rival. La clave es utilizar tiros estratégicos que coloquen la bola blanca en un sitio idóneo para la siguiente jugada e intentar controlar la mesa colocando las bolas en la mejor posición posible. La dirección de tu bola aparecerá marcada por una flecha, lo que te dará una indicación de la trayectoria de tu objetivo.
